MMC is a project working in remote villages of Kyenjojo District, Western Uganda, designed to prevent maternal deaths in childbirth amongst the poorest communities, where extreme poverty abounds. In these areas, for every 100,000 births a minimum of 336 mothers will die, more often than not from avoidable causes. For more info click here.
