In January/February 2025, we took a team of 12 people from the UK to spend two weeks at the Fountain of Peace Children's Foundation project at Miranga village, Kyenjojo, Western Uganda.

We took with us children’s clothes, shoes, toys, books, stationery, games and craft activities for the children.

During the latest trip to FOP UG, we were able to work alongside local staff, completing many different tasks successfully. These included construction of a chicken coop, sewing classes, guttering and painting the classrooms at Rwenjaza Hillside School, participating in crafts with the school children and a sports afternoon with the FOP children. A highlight was to spend a time of fellowship and prayer with each of the mothers, as well as spending time with the babies and children in the family homes.

During the trip we were thrilled to hand out Good News Bibles to all those children at FOP able to read, including those recently baptised, and NKJV versions to all the FOP staff and also the teachers at Rwenjaza Hillside School, totalling 200 Bibles in all. We and all of the recipients offer sincere thanks to everyone in the UK who willingly gave money in order to make this possible.

We also visited the school and were treated to a performance by the FOP choir. Please click  here  to listen to the choir singing.
